A new cooperation agreement between HSBC Bank Armenia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
HSBC Bank Armenia (hereinafter HSBC Armenia) and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (hereinafter EBRD) signed a Risk Sharing Framework (RSF) Agreement to expand local enterprises access to funding. Within the framework of the agreement signed by Francis Malige, the EBRD Managing Director, Financial Institutions and Irina Seylanyan, the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Armenia, EBRD will co-finance individual loans provided by HSBC Armenia to eligible borrowers.
“This partnership marks a new chapter in our longstanding relationship with EBRD. Through this collaboration we look forward to further enhancing our financing opportunities for local businesses.” said Irina Seylanyan, the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Armenia.
The RSF is one of three core financing frameworks of the EBRD’s Small Business Initiative a programme dedicated to supporting and developing local private companies.
